Letter to the Public Addressing the City of Grant Water Service Line Inventory
The City of Grant has recently completed a service line inventory to identify lead service lines.
This inventory was mostly done through records kept while installing meter pits, as well as other maintenance records.
If you receive a letter, some information was missing from these records, and we cannot definitively determine that no lead is present.
The letter will include portions of line in question and the city/homeowner address, along with material describing the dangers of lead exposure.
We do not believe lead is present, but we will take steps to identify all materials and to inform homeowners of our findings.
